Our History

The Clear Homes Team is part of the Charles Rutenberg family of over 5,000 realtors located around the United States. 

Charles Rutenberg established his first company more than 40 years ago. Charles Rutenberg Realty has long been recognized as a top U.S. brokerage firm with top producing offices in Chicago, Manhattan, Long Island, Tampa Bay, Central Florida, and has firmly established itself in the South Florida market. 

For the last decade, we have consistently ranked in the Top 50 out of thousands of Real Estate Brokers in Florida.

Since 1987, Real Trends has been the trusted source for news, analysis and information about the real estate industry. And, in 2015, Charles Rutenberg Realty was the only broker in Fort Lauderdale to make the Real Trends Top 500 ranking of brokerage firms in the entire United States!

How? Because with 850 realtors in our office, we sold 2,248 properties with a sales volume of over $750,000,000.

Charles Rutenberg’s home building company innovated the industry by creating the “Split Floor Plan” design in the 1970’s and has built hundreds of thousands of high-quality homes in the United States (over 100,000 in South Florida alone), as well as internationally.
